What we collect

• Customer contact details: your name, company name, email address and, if you choose text delivery, your mobile phone number.
• Billing details: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage: which leads you request, reply to or ask us to contact, used to improve the service.
• Public permit records: building permit data published by cities, which may include the names and business phone numbers of contractors listed on permits.

How we use it

We use your information to deliver leads, send the messages you request, handle billing and support, and improve Groundtip. We do not sell your personal information.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in to text delivery, we use your mobile number only to send Groundtip lead alerts and service messages. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run Groundtip, such as email, texting, mail and payment providers, under contract and only as needed. We may also share it when the law requires.

Outreach on your behalf

On the "We do the outreach" plan, we send messages to builders in your company's name and forward their replies to you. We use only business contact details from public records or business sources.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails, reply STOP to texts, cancel your plan, or ask us to delete your information by writing to hello@groundtip.com. If you are a contractor listed on a permit and don't want to hear from Groundtip customers through us, email us and we'll add you to our do-not-contact list.
